Belarusian women swam the English Channel

A team of Belarusian women swam the English Channel. It took Swim Sisters 13 hours and 50 minutes to cover the distance of 52 km.
They became the first Belarusian women to complete this symbolic swim. Swim Sisters overcame the cold water and challenging conditions of the open sea, as well as the currents that increased the distance from 34 km — the minimum width of the English Channel — all the way to 52 km.
