“Beltransgaz” does not confirm that Belarus is quits with “Gazprom”
“Beltransgaz” transferred money for gas supplied by “Gazprom” in the first half of the year, reported “Interfax” on the morning of August 8.
The sum of money paid by “Beltransgaz” was not mentioned, but a “source” in the company the whole debt was paid. The same information was distributed by the First National Channel on June 8. The channel referred to some anonymous sources in “Gazprom”.
The head of the press service of “Beltransgaz” Uladzimir Chehau has not confirmed the information that Belarus has paid the whole debt but even refuted it:
“This is “Interfax”’s information. If I receive an official notification I will immediately report it to mass media”.
