The final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will take place on May 16 in Vienna. Although the winners will be determined by the votes of television viewers and professional jury members, букмекерские конторы have already chosen their favorites.

Who the Bookmakers Are Backing

According to the website Eurovision World, which collects odds from Europe’s largest bookmakers, the current top ranking looks like this:

  1. Finland — Linda Lampenius & Pete Parkkonen, Liekinheitin
  2. Australia — Delta Goodrem, Eclipse
  3. Greece — Akylas, Ferto
  4. Israel — Noam Bettan, Michelle
  5. Bulgaria — Dara, Bangaranga

According to bookmakers’ forecasts, Finland’s representatives have the highest chances of winning. The song Liekinheitin, performed by Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen, combines pop rock with live violin music. Their chances of victory on the day of the final are estimated at 41%.

Australia is in second place. Delta Goodrem’s song Eclipse rose sharply in the rankings after the semifinal, while the British newspaper The Sun called the artist the main rival of the Finnish duo. Bookmakers give her a 22% chance of winning.

Finally, in third place with a significant gap behind the leaders (only a 7% chance of winning) is Greek artist Akylas with the song Ferto, which blends electro-pop with ethnic motifs.

Representatives of Israel, Bulgaria, Romania, and Denmark are also considered strong contenders, although their chances of victory are regarded as minimal. Moreover, the situation often shifts against them. For example, ahead of the second semifinal, Danish singer Søren Torpegaard Lund was predicted to finish in the top three, but he has now dropped to seventh place.
