Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that since June 22, relay stations on the territory of Belarus, which were used during Russian drone strikes on Ukraine, have stopped operating.
"According to the information reported to me by the commander-in-chief, as well as intelligence, on June 22, the relevant relay stations ceased their operation on the territory of Belarus. Whether they have been dismantled or not, I honestly do not know yet. But we are working on this, and I am watching the situation very carefully and receiving reports daily. The fact is that the relay stations are not working as of today", — he said.
As a reminder, on June 19, Zelensky announced the presence of relay stations on the territory of Belarus coordinating Russian strikes.
According to him, four such devices are located in the Gomel and Brest regions and were used during strikes on the Zhytomyr, Rivne and Volyn regions, as well as on the energy infrastructure and railways of Ukraine.
At the same time, he demanded that Belarus remove the equipment within a week.
Alexander Lukashenka did not publicly comment on Zelensky's words about the relay stations, but left for an extended foreign trip.
